This was hard. I'm trying to leave off family, food, sleep, country, etc., so don't think I'm a creep if I don't mention those things/people I obviously loooove. Here goes:
1. My Dyson vacuum cleaner. If you have one, you know why.
2. My Toyota mini-van. We are like best friends. I put the key in and the sucker starts. Even after 106,000 miles.
3. A dusting of snow on trees.
4. Words. Currently am digging: espionage, liverwurst, creamery.
5. When Husband surprises me by coming home early.
6. Belly laughs. We sometimes take turns tickling each other at our house, just to hear the sound.
7. Home.
8. Birthing. I'm one of those crazy "all natural" birthers. There is nothing better than watching a baby being born, especially if it's one of your own.
9. Julianna Margulies. Have you seen her in THE GOOD WIFE? Her boobs and face are still her own (and they look gorgeous), and she's got great talent, too.
10. Meeting nice people. Recent nice meets: Dr. Christopher Sartori (kind and compassionate) and David (a pest control man I met in a drainage ditch--that's a long story--who ended up coming to my house and treating my yard for pocket gophers for free. And, no, he was not trying to get in my pants) and one of the agents at UPSTART CROW (he saw I put a comment with the wrong post and actually fixed it for me---who does that?!).
11. Black coffee, especially at my mom's.
12. And a fast hodgepodge: clean sheets, long walks, the smell of Husband and kiddos when they come in from playing outside, a warm fire, when my cat sits on my lap, good books, hugs, bloggers, Jason Mraz.

We made the hodgepodge! :)
And no, I don't understand the Dyson thing.
Great list! And Toyota's are awesome.
Have you ever seen the Dyson hand dryers? Normally I prefer paper towels to hot air hand dryers because I am too impatint to take three minutes to dry my hands when I can readily do it in 30 seconds. The Dyson's actually get your hands dry fast.
OMG Dyson. My friend has one I'm super jealous.
Nice list :D
Awwww. Great list!
I always wondered if Dyson was really all that!
I love belly laughs too and laughing so hard I'm crying.
Great list! Good to know more about you. :)
I want a Dyson! Actually DH does the vacuuming so he's the one who would want it. We only have three rugs in the house, so it's probably not worth it. Wonderful list! I need to get mine posted.
My wife has never said she likes my smell.
And amen on #3.
It is harder than it seems, isn't it? There's probably something profound about knowing thyself that you could conclude, but then you'd be one of those people that use the word thyself.
Love your list (except No 8 - if I'd ever had children I would have said "knock me out, Doc!") and why oh why did I forget to put my dishwasher on my top ten list?? It ranks up there with your vacuum cleaner!! :):)
Mine was the Kirby :)
I just posted my list of likes!! :o)
I have a Dyson, too. I hear you!
I don't have a Dyson, I have a wife!
::ducking::
CHARLIE: Well your wife needs a Dyson! In truth, my husband loves the vacuum as much as me...we have way too much carpet in this house.
DEB: I have a Toyota and Husband has a little Honda...can't decide which is best (actually, I can...it's my Toyota).
RICK: Hand dryers?!!! Will Google this now.
MEG: I wanted one for so long. Now I'm very attached. My next door neighbor moved last summer and her vacuum left before she did. Well, she had to vacuum the place, so she asked to borrow mine. I was so paranoid she'd mess something up, I vacuumed the whole place for her when she went out on an errand...took me like an hour. THEN she came back to the house and said, "Oh, thanks. Uh, I need to use it after the crapet's cleaned, too." I think I had the shakes while she was using it.
KELLY: I bet you'll be doing plenty of laughing in the next week!
ABBY: It is fun learning more about bloggers, isn't it?
MG: Your DH sounds like quite a guy. I've said it already, but we have way too much carpet.
PMM: Try rolling around in leaves and stuff.
ANN: That reminds me! I forgot to run my dish washer! Yikes...need those clean by morning. Thanks!
KIM: I tried so many others before Dyson. This one's the keeper.
AMY: I heart your list!
