Word of the Day

I signed up for Merriam Webster's Word of the Day a couple months ago. Each day, I get emailed a new word. The email includes a definition and all sorts of other neat stuff about the word. This is so much fun, I can't even tell you. What a variety! What great background info! What interesting sentences! Also, did you know that the larger a person's vocabulary, the more money the person makes (usually)?

Anyway, sign up!

I've been meaning to do one of these for a while. Thanks to you, I just did. Way to advocate literacy, Anita.

Off to read more of your blog and catch up on your writing and whatnot.

I signed up when you gave the heads up on Twitter. I love it! I used to have a Word of the Day calendar, but I like the email idea better. And if it results in more $ then an extra bonus!

KRISTINA: I get them delivered to my iPhone, and whenever I'm waiting somewhere, I review them...such a word nerd.

RAY: I need to go catch up at your place, too...will swing by soon.

KELLY: Yay! Some of these make for great family dinner conversation, too!

COLD: Hey! That's a good idea.
