Monday Madness

Usually my Monday Madness posts are light, but not today.

About a week ago, a sweet little nine-year-old girl--the granddaughter of my dear friends--died in her sleep. She'd gone to bed happy and healthy, a shining star in so many lives. The autopsy didn't determine a cause of death. The whole thing is a horrific mystery.

So...there's madness in this Monday. Madness in every day, really. I guess the power to keep moving on is found in the shining stars still with us, and in the memories of those we've known.

I'm taking the week off from blogging, people. I'll be busy writing, reading and loving. See you next week.

I am so sorry for you and that family. Nothing is worse than losing a child.
A student in our district ( brother of one of my kindy students from last year) died before Christmas, and I am still recovering. It truly breaks my heart.
